(6/19/05) Avon Lake Cemetery is a small local cemetery on Lake Road (U.S. 6) overlooking Lake Erie, about 25 miles west of Cleveland (not to be confused with the more famous one in Cleveland proper). It consists primarily of one short road that enters the cemetery, winds its way around in a circle, and back out again. There are maybe just over a hundred graves here, a tree or two, and the lot backs up to a gentle hillside that slopes down to the lake itself. During a late night visit I obtained a few shots with orbs that seem to be centered around a particular section of the cemetery. For one of the pictures I include a day-time shot of the same vantage point for comparison. Activity there was light to moderate. One of the most interesting oddities is a stone marking the passing of an individual who died due to a “kettle of koonts.” Does anyone have any idea what that could possibly be?

Two of the three shots out of dozens taken that night to show orbs, some quite clearly.

An interesting side by side comparison of the area of the cemetery where most of the activity occured, and a daylight view of the area taken from the same angle.
