POSSIBLE GETTYSBURG SPIRIT?
I've seen a couple other Gettysburg photos posted here, so I thought I would share mine. I was taking pictures at the Gettysburg battlefield in May of 2003. I took 3 rolls of 35mm film, and this is the only shot that showed something strange. While it was light enough that day to cast shadows on the ground, it was also rather overcast and hazy that day as you can see in the picture so there was no direct sunlight from above. Is is a glare or something more? It's not your typical glare-shaped artifact and appears rather misty in form and shape. Note that it occurs both over the fence, and close to the ground near the side of the statue. -- Tony Young














LAKE TRAVIS BEING?
Above is a photo given to me to look over by a coworker, Jennifer W. I have 14 years Photoshop experience, and I can find no visual markers or artifacts of cloning or layering (click to enlarge full screen). This was a test photo to make sure the flash was working on a digital camera as college students from Amarillo went on a biology class field trip to Lake Travis near Austin, TX. The figure that appears to the right of the student when the photo is lightened is of unknown origin and was not noticed by anyone at the site. In brief, the figure shares lighting characteristics with the dock that appears to the left of the student, and, there is no evidence of double exposure. Some see a diver, some see a Native American. Why the eyes glow is unknown. Could this be a scuba diver that didn't say hello and went unnoticed, or, is it something less easy to explain? - Michael (michael1701@gmail.com)




PROSPECT PLACE SPIRIT
Prospect Place Mansion, in Trinway, Ohio, is alive with spirits of the past. It is an exciting place for ghost hunters and anyone interested in the paranormal or fascinated with rich history. I am fortunate to live so near to the mansion that I can easily schedule overnight stays to conduct my investigations. The owner, George Adams, is a wonderful man who is dedicated to the restoration efforts of his ancestor's home. This picture was taken by Lee Renner, my Mother and fellow ghost hunter, on 4-6-07 in the presence of Heather Yingling, Lead Investigator; and Danny, a Field Reporter from Mount Vernon, Ohio. Heather was using copper dowsing rods for communication purposes and claimed to be communicating with Malcolm, a young boy who once lived in the mansion and William Cox, who once owned the mansion. WEB CAM GHOST
This web cam capture was sent to us by Jim. It appears to be a maid of some kind dressed in 18th century outfit, caught in night vision ascending a staircase, on November 26, 2006. SKELETAL FIGURE IN CEMETERY
Taken in St. Augustine, FL. on the Haunted pub tour. This is the graveyard where people tend to see the "judge". I had a creepy feeling, and told my husband that something wasn't right, snapped a few pics, and left. Afterwards, looking at the pic before I blew it up, I could see something didn't look right, but I didn't expect to see this! STRANGE MIST ABOVE GRAVE
I am submitting a photo which I believe may possibly be a ghost. This photo was taken at a old family cemetery pre-1950's. it was about 6:30 on a warm, clear, July evening in 2002, and I was using a 35mm camera with 800 speed film. I was the only one there and I do not smoke so that ruled out that possibility. I've been ghost hunting for a while now and this was the first good photo I've taken! - Adam (atrzicak@yahoo.com)




CAR CRASH GHOST?
This is a picture of a newspaper clipping. The head-on collision killed a young mother of 3 boys. The accident happened approximately 8 years ago, I'm sorry I don't remember the exact date. I do remember several people talking about a "face" in the front end of the car the woman had been in but I didn't remember seeing it. I was at my mother's house yesterday and she was looking through old pictures and among them was this newspaper clipping. I picked it up and was about to ask her why she had saved it when the face just jumped out at me. My mother had stated she had cut the article and just put it away. I told her I wanted to scan it and she allowed me to bring the clipping home. I tried scanning it but it didn't scan plain, so I laid the clipping on my couch and took a picture of it with my digital camera, Fujifilm FinePix A205. I only had on the overhead light and did not use a flash. After I downloaded the pictures I picked the best one and drew a circle around the face, although I feel pointing it out is needless as it is so plain. I then cropped the front section of the car to better see the face. To my surprise you can also see what looks like an arm and leg, as if the person was curled up in a fetal position. - erLowe (erlowe@highland.net)




CLEVELAND CEMETERY GHOST
I am Brian Joseph Kory. These photos were taken at a nearby cemetery, St. Peter's Cemetery, in Cleveland Ohio. It was night time. There was no one near by. I was not smoking. This was taken at a gravesite in the middle of the cemetery with a digital camera. This is supposedly the grave of a boy and little girl who died in a car accident together. Some say can see the figure of a man with a hat, others just an unexplained mist. Notice that both sides of the figure at the bottom seem to be "seeping" out of the grave. What's more, I actually talked to this spirit and asked it to show itself if it wanted people to know it was there. I guess it answered me? - Brian (dr.korytco@yahoo.com)














FAMILY GHOST IN DOORWAY?
In the picture are myself, my wife and my youngest son. My 14 year old son is behind the camera. The photo was taken in the summer of 2004. No one was in the house at the time the picture was taken. I had not seen this photo until the other day when my son was thumbing through a photo album and this ghostly figure caught his attention. We have absolutely no idea how a ghost would be in our home and quite frankly we were a little disturbed by it. The house was only 4 years old at the time of the photo. We bought it 6 months after being built. We tried to reflect back on our time in this home to see if we could remember any weird incidents that may have taken place but to no avail. GHOST MIST & RIBBON ENERGY
May 12, 2007 - We were conducting a ghost hunt in one of Terrell, Texas' old downtown buildings, a former mental health facility. The building has four floors plus a basement. The first and second floors are occupied by a business and the rest of the building, with the exception of a laundry room in the basement, is currently unused. This photo was taken on the third floor. In the photo, a "ribbon" of light can be seen projecting just off the end of the flash light that I am holding and what appears to be a glowing mist can be seen on the floor -from the direction and location of these two they seem to be connected in some way. Neither of these anomalies were visible to those of us who were in the room at the time. We took over 350 photos throughout the building and most of them contained orbs, energy ribbons, and other phenomena. We also successfully captured a number of clear EVPs in the basement. - Johnny F. GETTYSBURG MIST
This picture was taken on November 10, 2000, while attending a "ghost tour" in Gettysburg, PA. It was a partly cloudy night, but there was no fog. I drove forty-five minutes one way and the weather was perfect.

Toward the end of the tour, the group was taken to the parking lot outside of the battlefield (Govt. regulations does not allow admittance in the battlefield at night.....not that I wanted to go in there anyway). As soon as the group entered the spot right next to the battlefield, I immediately got a strange, eerie feeling as I sat on the rock wall. I looked over my shoulder up into the battlefield and saw a bright, white glow moving over the hill. Since I didn't want to interrupt the tour guide's speech, I decided to drive back to the battlefield after the tour to take some pictures. My friend and I returned and each of us leaned over the rock wall and just started taking pictures into the dark battlefield. Of course, we were hoping to get a real ghost on picture!!

This picture is the most prominent photo of the three that I took. It appears to have strong stream of ectoplasm stemming from the monument. I didn't realize until I had the photos put on CD, that there also appears to be a "orb" at the top, right hand corner of the photo. Please note that there were no lights, no smoking, and no fog at the time the picture was taken. I was pretty amazed at this photo and surprised that I even got "something" or "someone" on picture, for the camera I used was a Kodak disposable. It will surely be a picture I will cherish and add to my scrap book! - A. L.













GETTYSBURG BATTLEFIELD GHOST?
These photographs were taken by North Carolina paranormal investigator Richard Liebeck, in the Triangular Field, on the Gettysburg Battlefield, at the Ghost World Conference of July 20-22, 2007. Many Confederate soldiers were slaughtered on this property. It was taken on Sunday, July 22, at 5:10pm. No one was present except for Liebeck's brother, and the fields were empty to the naked eye. They also measured strong magnetic surges around this time using a Tri-Field Natural EM Meter.

The first two photographs were taken using night vision equipment. The first photograph is a wide angle view of the famous Triangular Field not far from Devil's Den, where many strange occurances have been recorded. The second image is an extreme enlargement of a figure captured crossing that part of the field. It appears to be wearing a dark (blue?) overcoat and a period style hat, and you can make out what is either a strap of some sort across his chest, or else a rifle he is holding in front of his body, and a bag hanging to one side. It's unlikely to be a person or reenactor dressed in full costume as it was in the 90s that day and most people were in just shorts and T-shirts. Another item of interest is the figure seems semi-transparent, and his legs appear to disappear before reaching the ground. Both photos were taken with a Kodak DX7590 and a Hoya R72 IR filter. The third photograph shows the same part of the field in daylight where the figure was photographed.

The fourth and last photograph is a daylight mist that was caught in the same Triangular Field, showing what appears to be a shadowy face looking back at you. This was caught near the trees and bushes towards the back of the same field, which serves as a mass grave for perhaps 2,000 Union and Confederate soldiers. Gettysburg is one of the most actively haunted locations we have ever visited, and almost never fails to disappoint. - Blue Ridge Paranormal Investigations





GHOST CAUGHT ON INFRARED
I've been researching the paranormal for years now. Done a few "hunts", but when I started working at my new job, we began noticing odd things. To keep it brief, I work for a set-up in Montreal; we are in the process of moving out of our old building into a new one, the new building was a motherhouse for a number of years. The building isn't overly old; the eldest part of the structure was built in 1925.


I had recently purchased a new camera and decided to play with the different settings, one being IR (infrared). I went all around the building taking random shots everywhere. But this one shot in particular sticks out. It was taken in an old storage cold room downstairs; these rooms have been decommissioned for over a year at least, so it was not vapors or mist. But when I saw it, I saw a figure, as did anyone I showed it to, never once saying I caught a "ghost" on film, just asking people what they see. GHOST IN THE YARD
This photo was taken at dusk in March 2007, in my front yard. No one was smoking at the time. I am unaware of any paranormal history associated with the house, but the photo has me intrigued. Various people have seen a hooded figure, some a woman's face with long hair. I can't help but wonder everytime I go out in the yard now! - Roberta from Indiana





UNKNOWN CEMETERY SIGHTING
Approximately between 12:00am-1:00am on September 2, 2007 in the Huguenot Cemetery in St. Augustine, FL. It has a reputation of being one of the most active, and oldest, cemeteries in the south. There is a "spear" shaped object beside one of the tombstones. I went back during the day to disprove that my flash may have bounced off something, but there is nothing but a 3-4ft brick wall behind this tombstone, nor is there anything else that could have caused this object to appear. Perhaps it's an orb or other source of energy causing a "streak" effect. By comparing the light reflected off the nearby stones with this unknown object, it appears too bright to be an insect. SHROUDED FIGURE
IN THE CEMETERY
My dad and I went to Stainton cemetery 22nd March just after 6:00pm The cemetery is only just under a 5 minute drive from were we live. On taking some pictures in there and getting home after downloading the pictures to my computer I spotted this ghostly figure of what appears to be a lady, touching or very close to a particular tombstone. I was amazed at how clear she is. I would describe the weather conditions as dry, sunny, breezy and cooling down a bit. We weren't scared and didn't really feel anything in the cemetery. I thought it felt rather peaceful in fact and my dad was taking the pictures and he took some over the shoulder shots like they often suggest you do, not sure if this was an over the shoulder shot. A GHOSTLY PREMONITION OF DEATH?
This is a photo of a literary society taken circa 1915 at a small college in the Midwest. I first noticed the streak of light across the left hand side of the picture but discounted it since it was so easy to scratch early negatives and physical damage was rampant during the developing process in photographs of this era. However, when I looked at the fellow standing in the center of the top row with a magnifying glass, the way his face looked like a skull just didn't seem to be the 'normal' negative damage one would expect. A colleague of mine and I scanned the photo and enlarged his face to try and make it clearer, and the image of a skull became more prominent. GRAVEYARD APPARITION
This a photo my daughter Nicole took at a cemetery in Windsor Ontario Canada. The cemetery is across from Willowstead Manor. The day was dry and not too hot and it was just starting to get dark. The sun was about to set. She took many pics but this one seem to show a monkish looking figure. APPARITION ON THE STAIRS
On Saturday November 10 and Sunday November 11, 2007 the Will County Ghost Hunters Society conducted an overnight investigation at the P. Seth Magosky Museum in Joliet, IL. During the course of the investigation, over 2,000 photos were taken. At 4:55 AM a series of ten photographs of the staircase leading from the first floor to the second floor were taken with a night vision camera. In this photograph, one of the WCGHS investigators, Sunnie, can be seen at the top of the staircase with her flashlight. Also in the photograph is an apparition of a tall figure on the staircase. At the time of the photograph the figure was not seen or detected. It appears he is walking up the stairs and stopped to look over his shoulder at the camera. APPARITION AT THE WINDOW
This photo was taken with a digital camera at approximately 10:00 PM in October 2006, looking up at the second floor window from ground level. It is a bedroom window of a house that exhibits some of the classic signs of haunting: cold spots, thumps and bangs, odors, people being grabbed by something unseen. Unusual objects have been seen using night vision video equipment. The first photo is the original; the second is the same picture after being lightened. HULL HOUSE MUSEUM GHOST
My husband & I were visiting Chicago in June '07 and we decide to do a ghost tour. The tour was fun & interesting, lasted about 3 hours. The Hull House Museum was the last stop, as soon as we pulled up I knew I needed a photo of the staircase. I forgot my camera at the hotel so I had to use my cell phone (which has no flash). I waited till everyone had moved on to explore other parts of the grounds & such. I got my phone out & said SAY CHEESE and when I got home & blew up the pic on my pc this is what I got!
