CLEVELAND METROPARK APPARITION
Hi, my name is Liana Mittleman. Recently a couple of my friends and I traveled to a secluded area of the Metroparks on the westside of Cleveland. We set out to record EVP's and were in search of any paranormal activity. In our adventure we spent about an hour with our camera's and voice recorder. Our photos showed high energy and produced many orbs. In one of our photos we were able to catch a ghost which appeared to look like a corpse laying next to our recorder on a picnic table.

The EVP which was caught on our recorder consisted of heavy train sounds and metal clanking. One of the people at this site who was attempting to talk to the spirit voice was muffled compared to another which was clear as day but the spirit appeared to feel threatened by. By saying "get out" when the specific person was finished talking. Otherwise the phrases of "help me" were heard and answering of yes or no questions was heard as well for only 2 questions.

Our voice recorder was set on the picnic table by itself and the power light was being controlled and kept flashing on and off and we used it as if it was a pendulum. We had brand new batteries and it was a higher line product so we knew it was not malfunctioning. We asked it for a quick flash for yes and a long pause for no which appeared that the spirit was answering to. There were no trains sounding for the entire time of the EVP until the very end of our session which we knew was a train, but we heard clear as day a train which sounded as if it was right in front of us.

In more of our photos we counted about 7-10 orbs per photo and in the photo with the ghost there appeared to be numerous orbs as well. Attached to this email is the photo of which the ghost was captured. Please take a look at this and let me know what you think. I have no way of looking into the past history of where our location was and I am thinking quite possibly this was a native american, or this person crossed over due to a locomotive accident... SEMI TRUCK ACCIDENT SPIRIT?
11/18/08 - As an employee of a state agency, I was shooting an incident involving a crashed semi and SUV on Eagle Rd. in Boise, Idaho. The picture shows the rolled over semi and several firemen. There was not any smoke or steam coming from the truck that could have made the anomaly. There are 2 distinct areas on the photo that show faces in a foggy mist. This is not a photoshopped picture. I saw nothing at the scene of the accident that could have caused this. The original picture still resides in the camera (Canon EOS 6mp digital camera). In 21 years of photographic and video work, this is the first time this has happened. If I had not shot this myself, I would not believe it. - Dave (dave.fcp@gmail.com)

APPARITION OF A YOUNG GIRL?
11/18/08 - Just thought your readers might find this photograph interesting. It is one of my favorite photos from the investigations I have been on. On June 10, 2006 our team was called in to investigate a Victorian style home in a small town in Northwest Iowa. The homeowners reported that multiple family members had witnessed full bodied apparitions in and around the property. They also told us that while the family was away on vacation, neighbors checking up on the home would see children's faces looking out the windows of the home. The family stated that the home had once been home to the town's doctor and also held a nursery for young children.

This photo was taken at approximately 9:34pm. I was taking exterior shots of the home and with a Nikon D70 digital SLR camera. When I downloaded the photos to my laptop a few minutes later I was shocked to find the image of what appears to be a child with red hair that comes down to her sides and what looks like a Victorian style outfit, looking out the window at me. The photo taken approximately 15 seconds earlier of this window showed nothing unusual or anyone standing in the window

I immediately took steps to try to debunk the photo and run through several theories of natural explanations of the image. None of the investigators or homeowners had been present in this room when the photo was taken, nor did they match the description of the possible apparition. I took several more photos of the window from the same spot that I had been standing and had one of the female investigators stand in roughly the same spot to try to see if any deception had been involved. The investigator's face was clear and not at all blurred like the photo in question. To top this all off, a full size piano and bench was located next to the window which would have needed to be moved for someone to stand in the same spot as the apparition. In the end we were unable to debunk the photo. The first photo is the original file has not been altered or changed. CAN YOU SEE A GHOST CAT?
3/24/09 - I was trying to capture the last glimpse of sunlight in the sky on the Winter Solstice, 2004 [in Rural Minnesota]. When I looked at the picture, I was shocked to see this. It kind of looks like a cat, and maybe the silhouette of a man. - Haley (spiral5silence@yahoo.com )

GHOST OF BURNED BOY CAUGHT ON FILM
3/30/09 - This is an 8 year old boy that died in a fire years before at a house where I lived. I caught him looking in on me one night so I took his picture and if you look very close at the top and sides of his head you can see that he has little strands of hair here and there which did not get burned off. His eye was damaged and burned shut, and his one ear was damaged as well. The reason why the picture is an orange color is because I took the picture without a flash. I was showing my mom how good some of the pics come out when I don't use a flash. He came around another day and peeked in the window at the bottom there and smiled at me and it was then that I began to pray to God and I crossed him over. I have not seen him since that night. DAYLIGHT APPARITION IN CEMETERY
4/10/09 - I took this photo, I believe in 1991, at Maple Park Cemetery located in Springfield, Missouri. It was a cold fall day, just after an ice storm. I took the photo with a Canon Pelix 35mm. I was scanning my old photos, and for the first time got a good close up view of several pics I took in the cemetery that day. In the first view I could hardly see the figure standing near a headstone in the upper right of the photo, but as I zoomed in the figure became much more visible. It really creeps me out. I thought I was alone! - Mark

WORLD WAR II NORMANDY BATTLEFIELD GHOST
4/10/09 - I was standing with my boyfriend just outside of the pitch black room of the underground Nazi bunker [Omaha Beach, Normandy, France]. He said just before he snapped the two photos, "If I were a Nazi ghost, this is where I would be hiding." There's nothing unusual about the first photo, the walls are fairly washed out by the flash. In the second immediately following, in the corner there appears to be a cloudy mass that absorbs much of the flash in the top of the picture. It was extremely cold and windy just outside overhead, but it was stale and damp inside. This photo was taken Thursday, March 19th 2009. The two of us ran out of the bunker "Benny Hill" style and took a quick peek at the capture just as my camera battery decided to die. MOUNDSVILLE PENITENTIARY SHADOW MAN?
4/12/09 - This photo was taken on November 15, 2008 by the Paranormal Activity Testing Society during an investigation of the West Virginia Penitentiary (Moundsville Prison). This photo was taken in the cafeteria just 2 hours into the investigation. When this photo was taken, there were only 3 of our investigators present and no one else. For those of you not familiar with the set up of the room, I will try to explain:

RW was sitting in the floor, against the wall and would have been behind the figure. Pamela, the one who took the photo, was also sitting down in the floor asking questions in attempts to gather some EVP and snapping random photos. Patrick, our lead investigator, was standing against the wall on the far right. He was shining an IR light across the room so that Pamela could take photos. We asked "Can you show us were you are by making some noise?" they heard something that sounded like shuffling feet. That is when Pamela snapped the photo. During a break, we skimmed through our photos and VOILA!! There he was! We are still just amazed. And notice the similarities between our Shadow man and the infamous hallway Shadow man captured by the prison's resident paranormal investigator. - Pamela Tackett (contact@patsofficial.com)







UNKNOWN CEMETERY SIGHTING
Approximately between 12:00am-1:00am on September 2, 2007 in the Huguenot Cemetery in St. Augustine, FL. It has a reputation of being one of the most active, and oldest, cemeteries in the south. There is a "spear" shaped object beside one of the tombstones. I went back during the day to disprove that my flash may have bounced off something, but there is nothing but a 3-4ft brick wall behind this tombstone, nor is there anything else that could have caused this object to appear. Perhaps it's an orb or other source of energy causing a "streak" effect. By comparing the light reflected off the nearby stones with this unknown object, it appears too bright to be an insect. I used a Nikon D-50 camera with S800 Flash. - Stephanie Medley














UNSEEN COMPANION
It was the afternoon of Memorial Day [2009], and I was in a nearby cemetery [in New Hampshire] playing with a technique for shooting infrared photos with my Nikon D100. This technique leads to some great images, and cemeteries are great subjects with the general mixtures of stone and foliage. Since it was Memorial Day, I ensured that I was alone before breaking out the camera gear, as I did not want to offend anyone. Well, when I reviewed the pictures, it appears that I may not have been as alone as I thought. If you look to the left of the top left corner of the stone, there is a form similar to that of a person standing there. I will let you be the judge. The only manipulation of the photo was conversion to B&W and some brightness/contrast adjustments. - Gene
















PHANTOM CAT
In December of 2005, I was taking pictures of the Christmas lights at the Anheuser Busch brewery in St. Louis, Missouri. I was using a Hasselblad 501 C. The picture was printed over three years ago without noticing the feline onlooker. Recently, I have been converting all of my negatives to a digital format using a negative scanner. Upon closer inspection of these photos, I discovered the phantom cat in this one (front, center). The cat can be seen in the negative as well. SPIRIT OF A CAT
My friend's cat, Squeak, died on New Year's Eve 2007. She was a well loved pet and her passing was very hard on them. The next day her daughter was testing the camera on her new cell phone and decided to take a photo of the chair where her cat had loved to sit. When she reviewed the photo she found this image. They were very surprised, but also comforted that Squeak seemed to still be with them. - Shari (briquettethepoodle@gmail.com)













GIRL IN HER EASTER DRESS
This photograph is amazing photograph of a young girl in a peach dress by the trees. The story goes like this: It was about six days before Easter of this year. I was out walking around on our property, which is known to be haunted. I normally take a spot in the back yard by one of our large statues that are standing at on the ground. I pull up a chair and sit down to talk with the spirits for awhile .Whenever there are holidays coming up, I tell the spirits. They have no way of knowing what's going in the world of today. They only know what was going on at the time while they were on this earth. So time-to-time I let them know who the president is, what is going on in the world, and what year it is.

So on this particularly night it was around 2 AM, it was around 50 degrees. I was talking to the spirits and telling them what was going on in the world, and telling them that we have a holiday called Easter, and it's coming up soon. I'm not sure if you had it in your time or not. Our property dates back as far as the 1600's. It was once an old Spanish slave cemetery from the time when Pensacola, Florida, was discovered by the Spanish in 1556. I was telling them how our ladies of our life of today dress with different colors in beautiful dresses and fancy hats. I asked if they ever wore colorfully dresses or hats.

I was talking to the lady spirits and asked, "Could you show me what you wore to church when you went with your family?" I took several pictures and this is what I caught. First I thought I caught a peach orb until I got back into the house and downloaded the pictures onto my laptop. I was shocked, This was the first time that I have ever caught anything this outstanding. I have caught some great manifestations, but this takes it all. Here you will see this young lady in her peach dress. Look close and you will even see her little peach bow in her hair, I tell you that every time I see this photograph it amazes me what I caught on my Sony Cyber-Shot 10.1 camera. DECEBEL HOTEL HOODED APPARATION
Authorities have warned people to stay away from the Decebal Hotel alledgedly because construction was taking place on the one hundred fifty year old building. What they didn't warn people about was the ghost. The spirit of a tall woman in a long white frock has long been reported at the spa. The hotel in Romania is rumored to hide ancient Roman treasure, and the ghost, it is said, appears to protect it from treasure hunters. Only anecdotal evidence for this ghost existed until 2008 when thirty-three year old Victoria Iovan snapped this photograph, which indeed seems to show the ghostly image of a tall figure in long white garb. "I photographed my boyfriend in the hotel," said Iovan. "Back home I was shocked to see another woman's shadow in the picture. She looked like a priestess in long white clothes." SKELETAL FIGURE AT GETTYSBURG
Scott Hartman of Pennsylvania sent us this creepy ghost picture of what looks like a hooded skeleton. The problem is that Scott was photographing his wife's face, and this is the image that appeared: "This is a photo I took of my wife as we entered the spirited grove in Gettysburg. You can see the top and sides of my wife's head (her blonde hair). Honestly, I do not know what I have here, any suggestions? This photo was taken on 11/1/08 it was a nice clear night, approx. 8:30 pm. I was using an Olympus 820 stylus digital camera. We were on a ghost tour in Gettysburg and I was taking pictures along the way and this is one of the pictures I took." This photo remains a mystery. Scott says his wife was not wearing a hood, scarf, or hat. If you look closely at the image, you can see her hair framing the skeletal face. Scott also sees what looks like a face to the right of the skull image. It is just one crazy ghost picture, and one for which the distortion does not completely explain this frightening image.
