Welcome to Ohio's newest ghost-hunting website! While always interested in the paranormal and the science of investigative ghost-hunting, like most people I’ve always been a bit skeptical about the numerous ghost photographs (along with some video and audio recordings) that turn up either on the internet or on the recent rash of popular television programs until my wife and I took up ghost hunting as a hobby ourselves. A number of strange and unexplainable things started turning up in our own photographs and video recordings. As the saying goes, it’s always easy to write off other people’s experiences as hoaxes or simple mistakes, until it starts happening to you! Like any good investigator, we’ve gone to great lengths to first rule out any possible rational explanations where possible, or to prevent any naturally-occuring artifacts or anomalies from being mistaken as anything supernatural. But as Sherlock Holmes would say, “Once you’ve ruled out the impossible…”

Beginning in 2002 my wife and I took up ghost-hunting as a serious interest, and have taken part in some pretty detailed investigations in the Ohio area. We've adapted ghost-hunting techniques, methods, and experiences from some of the best sources and investigators available. Applying stringent guidelines both in collecting and evaluating results, I’ve explored what techniques work best and which don’t, both from my own personal trial and error and other researcher's experience. Together with friends we've since formed the Cleveland Supernatural Investigations, or C.S.I. for short, a group of like-minded individuals based out of the Cleveland area, dedicated to investigating and researching unexplained paranormal phenomena anywhere in the Ohio or Great Lakes region. While not being academic professionals in the sense that we own and operate all sorts of the latest expensive scientific instruments and gadgets, sometimes the average person can experience the supernatural for themselves using only the most basic equipment, and a lot of common sense.

This site represents our desire to share what we’ve found with others. Ghost-hunting does require work - a lot of research, and patience as well, but sometimes it can really pay off. Not every location we’ve investigated has produced positive results (about only one in three seems to be the average) so this site doesn’t cover every single place we’ve investigated, but only those whose results stood the test of time or those places I’ve deemed the most interesting. Many occurances that could be explained away for one reason or another were eliminated. What’s left represents that one-in-a-hundred result that can’t be easily explained away. Future investigations where anything unusual is discovered will be posted in coming months, and we’ll keep this site updated as to anything new. So come inside and take a look around – perhaps it will inspire you to do a little ghost-hunting of your own!
